Connor, protégé of sour sensei and The Ale Apothecary’s founder, Paul Arney, is the creative force behind some of The Ale Apothecary’s most celebrated pours. His expertise in spontaneous and wild ales is recognized not only across Bend, but throughout the wider wild brewing community.

Connor is a warlock of wild yeast, a true alchemist of ales. His deep understanding of yeast, bacteria, fermentation, and time allows him to transform humble ingredients into something extraordinary. His beers are deeply connected to place, drawing on ingredients from the region to create flavors that could not come from anywhere else. His brews are a direct reflection of the art and culture of Oregon (pun absolutely intended).
